Art Director? We’re hiring.

At Different Kettle, we aim to redefine not-for-profit marketing, through agility, creativity and collaboration. That means we’re looking for an art director who can take a brief, shape a strong response, and carry it all the way through to finished work that delivers real impact. 

With this in mind, you’ll be able to: 

• Develop strong creative concepts – not just one route, but a range of purposeful ideas. 

• Work closely with copywriters to build joined-up, idea-led campaigns. 

• Take ideas across formats and channels – from DM packs and print to digital, social, film and beyond. 

• Apply ideas consistently across touchpoints, understanding how they flex in different formats. 

• Present work clearly and confidently, internally and to clients. 

• Respond to feedback constructively, refining and improving the work. 

• Manage multiple projects, taking ownership from concept to delivery. 

• Work with studio to take ideas through to final design and artwork. 

• Collaborate closely with strategy and account teams to deliver integrated work. 

• Contribute to a supportive, open and honest working environment. 

The requirements 

• Proven experience as an art director in an agency or relevant creative environment. 

• Strong portfolio showing concept-led work across multiple formats. 

• Experience working across print, direct mail and digital channels. 

• Excellent visual thinking – from big ideas to craft and detail. 

• Strong eye for layout, typography, imagery and composition. 

• Good working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and production processes. 

• Ability to manage workload, prioritise and meet deadlines. 

• Collaborative, proactive and confident presenting work. 

• Curious, thoughtful and motivated to push ideas further.
