Fundraising MOT

A practical review to deepen supporter engagement and unlock income growth.

Fundraising rarely stands still. Campaigns evolve, teams change, and new channels emerge. And over time, opportunities can quietly be missed.

Our Fundraising MOT gives you the opportunity to step back and take an objective look at one area of your fundraising. We identify what’s working, where friction or attrition may be limiting growth, and where the next opportunities for deeper supporter engagement lie.

We don’t just look at what is happening, we look at why it is happening. We understand both the numbers and the human response behind results, not just leading with data and benchmarks. This is a focused approach, designed to provide actionable improvements you can implement quickly as well as long-term strategic opportunities to strengthen engagement and income.

Choose one area of fundraising you’d like us to focus on. For example:

  • Supporter Acquisition
  • Regular Giving
  • 2nd gift rates
  • Cash Appeals
  • Legacy Fundraising
  • Mid-Value Giving
  • Supporter Journeys

We will focus on

We’ll ask questions like:

  • Where it’s not connecting as strongly as it could, and what this means for income.
  • Where supporters might hesitate, disengage, or lose interest – and why.
  • Whether it is building enough belief and motivation to drive long-term value.
  • Where small, practical changes could make an immediate difference.
  • Where clearer thinking or stronger structure could unlock more sustainable growth.

Our aim is to identify both quick improvements and bigger opportunities so you can decide what to act on now, and what to build towards.

What you need to provide

Following a short kick-off call, well agree exactly what information is required. Typically this will include:

  • Campaign materials and stewardship communications
  • Results and KPIs
  • Channel summary
  • Any relevant background information

What You Will Receive

At the end of the review, you’ll receive:

  • A concise, prioritise action report
  • A 60-minute session to talk through our findings and recommendations
  • Practical improvements you can implement immediately
  • Longer-term strategic opportunities to consider
  • Optional scopes and indicative costs for any recommendations you’d like us to help deliver.
